Office Policies

Appointments:

Sick appointments can be made by calling the office at 770-475-9924; same-day sick visits are almost always available, so call us as early as possible to have your child seen. Well-check appointments and sick visits can also be made online via the Parent Portal. For the best care possible, please limit to only 2 siblings at a time, unless they are multiples (triplets, etc.).

Missed Appointments:

A missed appointment benefits no one. Please call the office as soon as you know you won't be able to make it to your appointment. A no-show fee of $25 may be applied if there is no communication with the office.

Phone Calls:

Phone calls during office hours will be answered by the Harmony Pediatrics staff. We are here to help you with all your needs. Please try to call for routine refills and appointments when the office is open. For all emergency calls after hours, please call the main number. A nurse may assist you first before a doctor is reached. Whenever you call and leave a message, someone will always get back in touch with you within the hour. If there is a communication glitch, please call back.

Medical Records or Forms Requests:

Paper copies of your child’s vaccination records and screenings for school/daycare registration forms are available by request at no charge; kindly give us 24 hours’ notice if you need them. We cannot give this paperwork to parents if the child has not had a well check-up within the last 12 months.

If you are switching to another practice or taking your child to see a specialist, please provide the recipient’s name, office and fax number at the time of your medical records request. We use an Electronic Health Records (EHR) system to send your child’s health history at no fee.
